I had this dream I just got my bike fixed, then I got two free ones.
I know exactly what this corelates to in my life: my need for computers! I also got my bike wheel trued yesterday, works great.
I have people throwing PCs at me left and right.
I have the one Hildie gave me that I used all this year (BTW, thankyou so much) but I can't use it now b/c we don't have WiFi capabilities. It's also running slow, dunno why. It'll work fine in college, once I get rid of Brianna's crap. Then David offered FrankenComputer, his also slow PC that's not even XP, with like one stick of loose RAM. Then, of course, the other day step-unit half-offered his lap-top that he wanted for recording equipment, but can't ever seem to get off the ground. That one is the best bet, but then he started refrensing it for the tax stuff at Tonsina. Bummer. Right when David said "go for that."
The lap-top may be the only one that'll support artwork, and I've been desperate for Photoshop for, literally, years but the available PCs I owned were never powerful enough.
Also, I'm really pissed the new digital camera I got as a graduation present sucked. GG got it for me, but it's five years old, and the memory card is three years out of date(and she made a big deal out of getting it for me). The one I got for Xmas has an annoying five-second shutter delay I can't seem to shake, and Dad has claimed it for his own fledgeling Ebay business, asking "You have your new one, right?" the night before the Grad party. I got extremely angry, like, tantrum angry, when the thing had only five pics available. I hated dad for hours, so I couldn't take pics of all these people I won't see until the ten-year reunion.
Also got mad at Jamie b/c he accidently erased the pics from Homecoming, Prom and GradNight when he wiped the drive. The night before I had asked him to burn me a disk but he said he was out. The light show of The Fray I spent so long photographing! Gone!!!!!
The answer is clear, I need a working camera, and a personal computer, no one else touches. Is it so much to ask for a digital camera like Brianna's, and a computer that'll support Photoshop?

Dude, how cool is it to have front-row seats to seeing a dear friend tell her abusive ex-boyfriend "I need my space" calmly and politely? It's number one for "Most Memorable Moments of 2007." She had total control after he had hit her face from behind with his backpack, and then rifled through her stuff to take back a "gift" he had given her "As a friend." She was in control, she never left her seat. She brought up that "You don't get what you want by hitting people" meaning what he had done to her in front of her 4-year-old cousin, and not by agravating her friends.
We all (five of us) had been looking away and pretending to be occupied, but listening like hell, and then Kaneisha chosses her moment and said "You should go, ____" and he left the cafeteria.
While D___ was modest in her triumpt. I had to run to the theatre to get the service hour form signed and who do I see under the eaves? ____ was sobbing in abundle. A____ had not been at lunch and runs over to me and goes "What happened? What's wrong?" We huddle out of sight. My report prompts several "That shithead! motherfucker! Asshole!" she has no simpathy after hearing about it.

Hopefully this is the end of that, but I doubt it.

Went to get a job at RenFair afterschool today, and no one was hiring! I'm a bit at loose ends now, I was (stupidly) depending on this being available

Totally unrelated but... I got accepted to Salem today! (I also lost my job and two scholarships turned me down, but today is definitely positive)
